It's not something new anymore.......it's a trend, people love the party bus, specially around Boston, MA.
For this reason only I think that we should teach people how to ask the right questions and what to look for when they look for a Boston Party Bus. It's not easy, nor simple to choose a party bus, and as we said before in one of our posts, please don't make common mistakes like booking with a large nationwide corporation.....and here's why....

First they will over charge you, almost double the price plus additional fees....we had a case this week, a customer booked a 32 passengers Party Bus with a company in Chicago. Needles to say that we farmed in the job for less money, they have met our rates but they still charged the customer double the price.
Make sure that your party bus company is local, and try by all means to go and see the vehicles in person before putting your money down. Large corporation they do nothing but advertise Party Buses they don't have on locations like Boston Area, New Hampshire, Maine, so they book jobs and after that, they farm out to local companies, for almost half price. Pretty nice to sit in your office and to make almost $1000.00 for a 10 min conversation over the phone, right?

First I have to apologize for not posting much in the past months, but we are back again to blog about things we think are important for limousine industry in the Boston Metro.
We promised that we will find the time to blog about party buses around Boston.

How many customers think that by renting a limousine, party bus, etc for a better rate, think like that: "Oh, I made the best deal!" Don't get me wrong, sometimes it is the best deal you can get considering... but sometimes is just better to keep shopping around until you really gonna get the best, even if you will pay a $ extra.
We get recently a few phone calls from customers, and it's usually a last minute call when there is nothing to be done, from people looking for party buses. What happens is this, customers get THE BEST DEAL, from Party Buses company, like almost a steal for that kind of money. What that company won't tell you is the fact that they are garage located in New York (google.maps - 4 hours drive to get to Boston), and since the economy goes down to drain, they will say just about anything to get your money. But when you get a phone call from the company and you find out that your party bus won't be there on time, or will not be there at all because something happened, is because they got a better local deal and they don't have to send the buses 4 hours away to service somebody when they can do it local.
So a good advise for people that look to rent party buses, please stay away from Party Ride. Why? Because they are located in New York, and they will always ditch you if they get a better deal in New York rather then coming all the way to Boston and if by any chance you will call us asking to do the impossible by sending you a bus, that is not gonna happen because smart people shop local.

As usual one of our drivers, gets back in the office and pops the news. "I have had in the car a MithBuster, from Discovery Channel". That passed as a good news considering that 99.9% of our customers are locals traveling in and/or out of the airport.

We always wonder, how can ppl make money out of nothing, writing about nothing, talking about nothing, movies about nothing (see Seinfeld).
So we think is worth to try to blog about nothing in the limousine industry around Boston, MA. It's hard not to say anything about something, when there is so much going on. There is at least one little thing that will get you attention. In the limousine industry everyone is waiting for....what? For the prom season!!!
We hope that this year will be at the level of everyone's expectations, because last year we've seen so many long faces of limousine operators going like:" Oh this year is so bad! No one wants to pay the full price in the full prom season. What we gonna do, how we gonna pay for the limousines?"
The naked truth is that last year in 2009, the parents, and we not talking about wealthy one, we speak for the most of them with a medium salary, they could not afford to pay for the kids limos. So they drove the kids to prom making that ride "A nightmare to remember" Well hopefully people will understand that this year something had changed, the economy had bloomed a little after that unexpected collapse.

Today we gonna say a few words about motorcycles. And we not gonna talk about your crotch rocket sitting in your garage at night waiting for more sunny days, but we will make a short comment on the "Motorcycle Limo"

We have seen it at the motorcycle show in Boston, event that was held at the Expo Center this last weekend. For those of you who had the curiosity to top by, we gotta say, that thing was amazing. Could probably accommodate up to 10 passengers, had a V-Twin engine under every seat of the bike, and it was long, maybe a little bit to long to comply with all the rules and safety regulations of Massachusetts. But who cares if you want to enjoy that thing on a sunny day of summer along with all your friend, again no more than ten. Now, so you can believe us please enjoy the few pictures we took on site, and also I attached one of my favorites motorcycles for 2010, the new S1000RR from BMW - a true work of art.

Party Bus - Emergency Windows Safety

We haven't blog in a little while because the weekend is always a good way to look back over your shoulder and think more on what you want to say to you audience. We will say a few words about the party bus emergency windows and emergency hatch. These emergency "escapes" are there for a reason and that it's not ventilation. No my friends, there are not to ventilate the interior when you smoking weird stuff in the back of the Party Bus. Well first thing first, you should not smoke in the Party Bus at all, under any circumstances. People came to us and said:"Oh, I have glaucoma, the doctor prescribed me some weed. Can I smoke it now, with my friends in the limo bus?" No my friends, as far as we are concerned you can go blind for a few hours in the limo bus, you still can't smoke. Smoking is prohibited in our vehicles. You touch the emergency windows, and next thing you know one of the windows is gonna fly while driving because the window was unlocked. So if you see emergency windows stay away from them unless the driver is stupid enough to crash the vehicle and that's where you need your emergency windows. To replace one of the emergency windows? How much? Maybe too much if you want to go out and party with your friends, just stick with that budget, don't plan on flying out any windows.

If automotive industry is more and more focused on making vehicles that are cost efficient and get more and more MPG, (see Volt) there a question that is being asked more and more these days.
Are Hummerzines anyhow green, gas friendly? And because Hummers they have such a bad reputation, most of the people asking this question they find themself answering with a simple NO! No way in the world the Hummerzine, the limo made out of H2 Hummer can be gas friendly.

What this means, is simple.
